There's a nice primer on Dyson Spheres by Deborah Byrd at EarthSky. It references George Dvorsky's How to Build a Dyson Sphere in Five (relatively) Easy Steps, which is worth a re-read (though not everyone agreed). Centauri Dreams looks at SETI's proposed Colossus telescope, which could look for such objects. Universe Today did a nice piece on hunting for Alien Megastructures last month.
