Still Here

Yeah, I've been a bit absent lately. Life getting in the way again.
It's been a busy time. Last weekend I attended International Steampunk City in Waltham MA, which, despite the rain, was a lot of fun. I spent this past Saturday at the Transhumanism meets Design conference in NYC, where I got to spend some meatspace time with blogger George Dvorsky, see some excellent talks, and stimulate the gray matter a bit. We're also getting ready to go on summer break at the Astronomy Society of Greater Hartford, and will be holding the StarConn conference on June 4 at Wesleyan. The theme is Astrobiology and there is an impressive slate of speakers. In between all that I'm trying to keep up with reading, comics, Dr. Who, South Park, Game of Thrones, assorted podcasts, exercise, personal grooming, communication and interaction with people I care about in the real world, and occasionally sleep.
Thing let us a little in the next few weeks, so I hope to post more.
